"Great experience from start to finish. Friendly staff, a driving range hitting from real grass, and both putting and chipping areas available. The front nine is more open, while the back nine is more challenging with a Trent Jones design. The tee shots on the 17th and 18th holes are spectacular. The restaurant and bar are probably the best value for money in terms of quality on the Costa del Sol." - Patric

"The course was in good shape. The greens were perfect but fast. The fairways are pretty large but the ball is often rolling left or right and finishing on another fairway. This can trouble some people. A few holes were under repair but nobody told us before arriving. We have been unlucky because the Marshall did not notice that 4 people played 9 holes, had lunch, and finished the last 9 holes just in front of us, which caused a severe delay of half an hour. The customer service is very friendly and the academy for young players seems very busy.

"Good course in nice condition with decent bunkers. Also not bad value. This is easily walkable. Very friendly staff. Nice opening par 4. Also a lovely stroke index 2 par 4 7th with a challenging downhill shot with a lake protecting the green. The closing 2 holes also present a challenge with the 17th being a par 3 with water to carry. The 18th is also interesting. If you’re a big hitter you can aim to drive the chasm in front of you and the easily reach the green in 2,or you can bale out to the right but doing so makes it a par 5." - Spiggy

"A good value course if you’re happy walking which this is an easy course to do so. Fairly wide fairways but still a challenging course particularly the last 2 holes. 17 a par 3 over water collecting many balls followed by a par 4 where you can take the short route over a massive chasm or the easier route right but then makes the hole significantly longer. "Course was in good condition. Got round in 4 hours. Buggy not essential as easy enough to walk. Signature holes are the par 4 7th. A good drive required for your second shot downhill with a pond to the right of the green. 17th par 3 over water is challenging. The course has a pleasant feel to it.

"Sadly not in as good condition as normal particularly the back 9.
Fairways in poor shape. Also the 16th hole was being treated and was replaced by a very short par 3 after the 12th hole. Would not rush back until later in the year. On a positive note the bunkers were in very good condition as was the front 9.

"A nice course in good condition with a number of signature holes.
The par 4 7th with a big pond next to the green downhill for your second Shot and the par4 18th requires a decent tee shot to reach the fairway over a large chasm. Buggy not required. Friendly staff. "Back to basics not fancy not plush but value for money.
No frills and windy thrills..
Good design one hole headwind the next tail wind and so on and on..: interesting looks and some nice holes.. some holes are hard to visualize the first time you play
Greens are supersuperfast possibly due to the non stop wind.
Course condition is fair.
Buggy recommended for seniors.

"OK for playing, but quite a drop down from playing Alcaidesa links earlier the same day. Quite a few fairways that lies next to each other and that allows you to play on if you hit it slightly of target."

The course interesting as always and we made the last two holes (water and Valley!)
Staff was friendly, but Not the following netherland Players, but that is not a reason to visit La Canada again.
Buggy might recommemded for older Players, but it is not a must

"Fairways är lite torra och brända till viss del (21-11-12). Men det påverkar inte mycket. Fint skick på green och dess närområden. Bra greener som man måste vara noggranna med. Detta är en bana som är utmanande och rolig att spela. Jag gillar att gå runt banan och det fungerar utan bekymmer att göra på Canada. Trevligt bemötande och hjälpsamt av golf personalen. Bra träningsytor. En golfkrog som är välsorterad. Det är också en klubb som har en trevlig social stämning. Vilket syns på träningsaktiviteter bl.a

"quite good course, we where asked to start at hole 10 and thats ok, but when we came to hole 1 the starter would not let us out on the first nine, we managed to get out with another 2ball so we did play our 18. good course poor service and a rude starter. might play there again but with so many good courses in the area the new and higher price at LaCanada i rather play other courses." - Rikard
