"The course is challenging, some holes very challenging. Better to hit a little shorter and straight than longer and a little crooked. If you are a little off the course, you are probably lost. Very hilly course with several holes steeply uphill and others steeply downhill. The greens were good, some with larger repairs but overall good. Golf cart is mandatory. The staff is very service-oriented."

"Without a doubt one of the best golf courses in the area. The greens were in top condition and they were fast greens which is a prerequisite for the course to be experienced as really good.

Considering there was 4 weeks of rain maintenance responded well and not intrusive
Bunkers were poor & not really playable possible due to rain
You cannot play this course without a buggy
Felt €52 for 4 ham croissants & tea/coffee was expensive considering we paid €21 for same at Dona Julia previous day

"Great layout, and course was in very good shape considering we just had a torrential rain storm the day before.
Fairways we in great shape and perfect distance wide. No finky holes here. Buggy paths were concrete and in great. Tee boxes were the best I’ve seen of the four course we’ve played." - David Farquhar

"Surprisingly the course we’re in bad condition compared to the last years. We player a lot of times ValleRomano in the past it was always a very good place to be but this year we were very disappointed! A lot of construction work around the course and on the course- some tees were under construction or not ready, part of the fairways completely without grass- greens ok but definitely not perfect

- Issue that we had three flights of finnish teenagers with loud rock music in front of us. Getting more drunk during the day. (Still good players, though). The Marshall came by - he saw and he knew - but he smiled. Instead he should have kicked them out."

"I have played there many times during past years and has been one of my favourites but something is wrong there now. Many greens with damages. Bunkers have not been attended for weeks and rest is at similar stage Sorry for being so negative but I was very disappointed like I told the staff. But hopefully this will be better in few weeks time"

"Be sure to bring a golfguide, we didn't but you really need it. I want tp play here again. Fun and challanged. Greens were slow, just good to know. Good to have a vart I think maybe long to walk Eben if I don't min walking. Stagg in the shop were really nice."
