"The golf course design is good, however on Monday March 24 was absolutely unplayable because water everywhere, it was impossible to find a place for drop. We ended the game after 9 holes and played the second 9 holes on Friday, but the course was not much better. It was unfair not to provide a significant discount." - Josef

"The course is Not Well maintained but interesting. For a good course is a lot to do. The buggy path of the second 9 wholes is new but to small. All holes are very difficult, also the greens. But the price is ok for this adventure. Also for good and very good players."

"We had a thoroughly lovely game of golf. Having come from England with rain etc the course seemed in wonderful condition. The signs to the next tee were all very well shown. The greens very good. If you were “a very good golfer” you would enjoy all the different runs on the ball as small hills etc which you would have to navigate. For the not so good golfers, like me so exiting to be able to get a 3 or 4 on the par 3s. I even managed a 2 so my holiday is def one to remember.
All the staff were extremely lovely and helpful and the food excellent. On our next trip to Spain, Estepona will definitely be top of our list to play again." - Spuddie

"It was slow front 9 holes taking over 2.5 hours and some holes there was 3 groups of players. The area around the greens was very wet and balls plugged. Lots of maintenance still going on.
Some very sloppy fairways that allowed the ball to run to out of bounds on the other side from where the ball landed.
Do not play without a buggy, but be careful on some of the buggy paths as quite steep.
The bunkers had very heavy wet sand
Not worth the price they charge with the course in this state.
Customer service in the pro shop was excellent."

"poor image, can be in financial trouble this course, one waitress and 1 person in kitchen, small pro shop, we were the only people in the clubhouse, and hardly players we have seen.Surroundings like nature very nice, but badly developped,good panoramic sea views. Quiet, course its self ok, but hole 8 is under repair or change, and is not good indicated, its written on the ground where to drive with buggy but hardly readable,

"Wow - what a transformation in 12mths.
The greens are very good, comparable with all other courses on the coast (and better than most).
The fairways are a lot better, along with the tea boxes.
Bunkers are ok, with just the rough needing attention with a lot of bare patches and tufts of grass.
The hospitality from all of the staff is so friendly I would recommend this place is great value for money and worth a visit." - Simon Smith

"If you've not played Estepona for two years, but before, the course will be a glad surprise for you. Everything has improved, fairways, greens and greenareas, facilities. All of that is of very high standard, meaning this is a value for money experience. The course as such is ok in its lay-out. All holes are ok except for hole 9. On the other hand, when you've played the course a couple of times you know how to handle it and you know you can buy a cup of coffee after playing the ninth. Three remarks. 1. The red tee areas could have been better. 2. The greenkeeper must be thaught how to place flags/holes on the greens. They were 94% placed in slopes making it a lottery to put.
3. The maintenance personnel must also be educated about what it means to work on the course side by side with playing golfers and how to interact with the players.
All in all I recommend a visit to this at the moment not so crowded course." - Göran Nilgard

"Banan har ny ägare och första dagen för spel med nya ägarna var idag. Banans kondition är ganska bra, fairways och grenner var ovanligt bra men allt runt omkring behöver en ordentlig "uppfräschning". Detta kommer att göras enligt personalen som var mycket trevliga och tillmötesgående. Buggy rekommenderas.

"Very low prices, not crowded.
Staff is very friendly and flexible.
But the course (incl. the club house) needs a refurbishment.
But still worse a nice afternoon round.
Greens are fast and mostly well serviced.
Fairways are shaggy and grass is too high.
Only gasoline buggy’s are available. (Loud and stinky)
Buggy path are bad, better be slow.

"Although not in very good condition Estepona is well worth a visit. It has some excellent holes with great variety.
If you are looking for a manicured course do not go to Estepona. However, if you are interested in a course with variety, good holes and a well laid out course then this is a place to play.
I think that more attention should be paid to the state of the buggy paths as some are definitely dangerous. But we survived even with wet slippy paths!
Will play it again but hopefully not when damp and cold!!"

Un scandale, Green malade, pas de fairway de la terre herbes dans les bunkers club house qui sent l’urine campo a éviter incroyable de trouver ça en Andalousie et de payer 40€ le greenfee.

"The course has clearly suffered from the cutback in numbers of greenkeepers. But this was inevitable due to Covid, and nit the fault if the owners or management. The greens played well. Many of tge fairways however needed a cut, one ball was lost somewhere in some clover on the fairway!

"The course was not in great shape to be honest.
Fairways are patchy in some areas, and waterlogged/boggy in others.
Several of the bunkers also were unplayable due to water from the sprinkler systems.
Greens were kept well. Buggy paths were ok, but a couple of missed turns due to lack of signage.
I would absolutely recommend a buggy, lots of hills and a fair distance to walk.
Overall, and price considering, it is at the right value for your money and a course I'd play again for that value."
