"First time we have played this course and we really liked it. Greens were mighty slow though. Nice layout parkland course. Don't need to get the big dog out on many holes as an iron off the tee is sufficient as there are some narrow fairways on the front 9. Bunkers were like mud but the area had a bit of rain. Overall, nice."

"Not overlong but very tricky in places Some lovely views on the way round.. A few ups and downs but easily walkable, and the pace of play was good compared to other courses in the area. Fairways had been slit but overall in good condition. Greens true and medium/fast. Friendly and helpful staff in the clubhouse. We didn’t eat there after our round but the food looked good. Only real downside was the bunkers, some of which did not seem to have enough sand in - probably best to stay out of them." - John Snape

"We arrived early at 9 for a T off time at 10 am. Ordered breakfast at 9 . Took 40 min to arrive . I went to the 1 st T at 9.50 to find the 4 ball that were to Tee off after us had been given our booked time 10 o’clock .The Caddy master said don’t worry they are fast but if your catching them they will let you through . They were v slow we were a 2 ball . Totally ruined the day . They would not let us play through even though they took our slot . Won’t play again I’d rather play Aphrodite Hills ."

"Fairways and Greens are in good condition not so are the bunkers. They need maintenance.
Pace of play to slow. Needed 4.40 hours that is to much for such a short course."

"The course was not that long but still challenging as there were a number of holes with dog legs or narrow fairways requiring accuracy of the tee. Greens were receptions good speed. Only negative points were greens had some wear and lots of unrepaired pitchmarks (bad golfers) and some fairways a little worn. The practice facilities were excellent with a good 19th hole also."

"The course at Secret Valley was in very good condition.
The greens are very fast. Fastest i think I’ve played on.
Some of the tee shots are demanding. But over it’s good fun to play. If you’re a little wayward then take plenty of Balls.

"No only the place is very good - after Caddy MAster recommendation, it was a challenge to play at this place - special the first 9-hole is very narrow!
Buggy paths is very good and I can recommend using one! With good body condition I can walk too.
The bunkers is not good sanded! To much small stone!!

"Pretty slow as there were Walkers with electric trolleys, without electric trolleys and people with Buggies.
Fairly hilly, number of Blind shots to play. Buggy recommended.
We changed Starting times/ day as the forecast was poor, spoke with “Joe” who was extremely helpas were the receptionists.
Made very welcome.

"Only managed 10 holes before the Hooter sounded.
Those 10 holes played very well and in good condition.
When we booked we requested a buggy but on the day
we were told due to the conditions we could not have one.
However the couple we were paired with on the Tee had one.
They couldn’t understand why we were refused.
My wife is recovering from a Knee Op and found it difficult
walking the course even with an electric trolley.

"With the exemption of Minthis, which we habe not played yet, SV is the most challenging course in the Paphos area. Very good greens, which contain a single grass. The bunkers are well placed and mostly contain a good sand mix. Sometimes there is a bit too little sand which gives you a hard surface. Very friendly staff all around. Another highlight is the halfway house with grilled sausages.

"Lovely course, very friendly staff, struggling to cope with the issues thrown up by the bad weather.
Buggies were allowed on the course despite the poor weather, staff obviously working very hard to keep the course in good condition.
The course is extremely picturesque, challenging but fair. Would recommend buggy as the course is very undulating in places.
Great changes of elevation, a course planner is essential, as the layout of some of the holes is not easily apparent from the tees." - Mike Giles

"Secret valley golf course is superb. The course was in excellent condition. I played twice walked and with buggy. I'm 58 years old and carried bag on a hot day and was fine. Front 9 you have to hit straight or you will struggle back 9 opens up a bit. Take your time and enjoy the holes and views. The staff are great nice shop and clubhouse. Enjoyed a cheap beer over looking 18th green." - Trevor Bush

"Very good course, Tee boxes well kept fairways looked after with groups ahead repairing divots taken. Greens very slick when eventually finding them! Bunkers ropey and could do with some maintenance as lots of loose impediments as I come out of one which on my follow through hit a rock and chipped my wedge face. If your not straight off the tee you can find yourself in all sorts of bother so would not recommend for the higher handicapper - particularly on the right side of many of the front 9 holes! Apart from that course is fantastic and we are returning on Thursday to play again!" - Matt
