"Spectacular surroundings to play golf in. They seem to be working hard to get the course back to its best after the covid period and I'm sure they'll have it tip top in no time, for the time being there are the odd few areas needing extra care and attention from the ground staff.
Disappointed not to be able to get a drink at the bar when we finished at lunch time (bar was not yet open at 12:15) but that didn't spoil a good round of golf.

#Narrow fairways and rollercoaster layout.
#The driving ranch and putting green were closed.
#12 Euros for one trolly??!!
Overall: paying around 120 euros was extremely overpriced.

"A very interesting course with many changes of elevation. Plenty of interesting holes and nice views. Water comes into play on a number of holes. In my view it is far superior to the New Course at Salobre. You can walk the course, in spite of the hills, and lots of people do. The greens were fast and ran true.
There is no Club House as such but can you can of course use the bars at the Hotel when you have completed your round." - Julie

"A challenging course, tough on first-timers as it has a lot of elevation and sloping fairways, hence you will hit some uncomfortable shots. And the greens and the bunkering is treacherous! "Very slow play ahead of us, there should be playing time checks at least once at the round. We were waiting at almost every tee for the players in front to proceed forward enough for us to tee off. Car Paths was sometimes very narrow and we Went down in the soil at some points.

"Good course for the average club golfer. Good interval between tee times so never waiting or being pushed.
Only downside was the bar for drinks after golf was dark with no outside seats in the sun and not surprisingly empty.

"Pompous shop and hotel with a fine caddy service. The first big disappointment came when they were not able to provide a strokesaver. Not even a map of the course with indications of the individual hole numbers and green and tee. Also lack of out-of-bounds indicators tricked us a couple of times. It is very confusing that they are naming the two courses both south/north and new/old so you have to figure out which is which. On the score card it is named south and on the course it is named new?!? There were no directions to the driving range which was far away from the club house and it took a long time to get there. Do not go in the bunkers. They are filled with sharp stones the size of a finger nail and they will destroy your tools." - Fnielsen
