"Greens were excellent, true and fast. Would accept balls properly flighted or spun. Fairways were patchy but playable from preferred lies. Bunkers were groomed and firmer with limited depth of sand requiring less bounce on your wedges. Do not expect groomed conditions from tee to green. Course design was hilly with lots of elevation changes. Not a course for inexperienced or higher handicap golfers as there are many carries over hazards and ponds. Challenging tee shots, sometimes blind landing areas. Select clubs wisely as driver is not always the play. Course was not busy so an enjoyable round in 4 hours. Beautiful rugged terrain. Overall a very enjoyable experience.Buggy required for all except the most fit." - Carl Vajda

"Very hilly course, but with a good mix of short 0ar 4s and some long par 5s. Greens were good, but the fairways lack grass in places, mainly at the edges, this didn't spoil the golf though.

"This is a lovely golf course. It has many good holes. The back 9 is really picturesque in a lovely setting. Sadly the fairways have not seen any water recently and are brown and hard and for some would make it not worth playing . A buggy is recommended and the cost of the round with a buggy is cheap.
If you’re not bothered about the fairways being poor it’s well worth a visit as it’s cheap and pretty. If only they could spend some money on it and restore it to the condition it was in before it would be really good." - Spiggy

"The course has some challenging holes and wonderful views. The staff were very friendly. The condition of the course in the main is good if a little tired around the edges but good value and I will return.

"A dreadful course in terrible condition, I have played this before and enjoyed it but the place has fallen into a awful state and the course is almost unplayable with dead grass on many fairways. It is also untidy and there is damage to the paths all around the course. Definately not worth the money." - Desi |
