"Finca Cortesin is a great course with an excellent layout. Maybe too difficult for the higher handicap golfer. However when we played the greens were in poor condition and it did influence our enjoyment of the course."

"Very poor quality. general conditioning of the course poor. was rain the night before, but to not rake the bunkers in the morning and expect people to pay EUR 325 is absolutely terrible. We were not told about any of the bunkers all not being raked and all rock solid with the overnight rain. Green were very poor and not rolling at all. We feel completely ripped off. Fair ways conditioning also very poor."

"1. Practice area - the pyramid of balls and ‘infinity’ driving range always cheer me. Very good facility.
2. Fairways and greens - immaculate, fantastic condition, lovely greens, well worth the price to play on a course as good as this.
3. Welcome and staff - great staff, welcoming, helpful and really friendly.
4. Pace of play - as a preference we played as a 2 ball, accepting that with a busy course it would be 4 hours.
5. Food - one of the joys of playing a course like Finca is staying afterwards and having a beer, a snack/meal, but at €40 for a glass of cava, beer and a small portion of croquettes it not value for money. There has been a significant price increase!

"A great test of golf on a challenging undulating number of fairways.
Some delightful aesthetically wonderful holes set into the natural landscape, a delight to play. Be careful of the water which plays its part on several holes.
First class practice facilities and a club house that you would expect at a 5*+ resort.

"The Solheim Cup coverage didn't do this course justice.
Everything is top notch - the staff, welcome, food, facilities (love the little pyramid of balls), fruit and soup on the course.
The course from the whites is a good test, half dozen long carries, hybrid in hand for some of the par threes and the greens very fast.
Course condition is immaculate.
Always play this course when we get to Spain now - might sound like heresy but this is better than Valderrama." - The happy golfing pair

"Woah! What a brute of a course and no idea how the ladies in the Solheim Cup are going to go on without buggies!! It is long, steep with many sloping fairways. We all found it very tiring, probably more so because we had to stick to the cart paths with the buggies due to recent heavy rain - but still, it was in great condition, but very tough and will be great to see the professionals tackle the course.

"You get what you pay for. Even though expensive, Finca Cortesin didn’t disappoint in any department. Initial greeting, range, course and bar facilities were all superb. The course was in great condition and the greens were FAST. On course facilities were good, a refreshment buggy was going around. Numerous tees for varying ranges of golfer. Best course I have played in Spain and is top 5 of courses that I have played worldwide. If you are serious about golf, put this course on your list. "Immaculately kept golf course which has been carved into land which is unfavourable fir the game of golf. This turns in into an experience which is only really conducive with matchplay golf as good shots quickly get punished by the excessive fairway cambers. Worth playing but without the exceptional service it is not top 5 on the coast."

"Everything was in the best condition which we also expected. All though it has been a dry period, the tee boxes, fairways, rough and greens were extreme good condition.
The bunkers were good to play from and even though we had a twilight time it didn’t seem that many had been in them.
About the course design then I think some of the par-3 holes are too long. Today the were 134, 163, 168, 184 and 195 meters. For an average male golf player it is long.
The staf was very helpful and friendly.

"The course is a excellent golf coarse . The only draw back in parts it was a bit too wet. Though we understand the cart path only policy for the buggies this made it rather challenging as we had to walk a lot to reach our balls and not always the right clubs with us. Had we known only cart path rule we would have opted for electric trolleys and we would have enjoyed it better.
