"Condition no more than OK, a little tatty around the edges. Some greens were very poor, eg 15th had a new strip of turf between the pin and bunker. That 3rd of the green should have GUR. Some holes too contrived. 9th measures about 330m, but is a semi circle, so by the time you gone down hill then up again, plays more like 400m. Didn't enjoy climbing back for some of the back tees." - Pappa J

"Considering the bad weather they had a week before we were impressed how good the course condition was. The only negative points were the tee areas could have been cut shorter and the greens were a little slow. Apart from that excellent and look forward to play again"

"I found this course a challenge at every tee. You had to pick the correct club to avoid the well placed hazards. The views from the tees were spectacular. This was a thinking mans course with club selection so important. You do not have to be a big hitter to score well, but you do need to be fairly accurate."

"Overall a good layout but there are a few holes which need a bit of a rethink to adjust risk/reward. 9 and 10 in particular you can play good shots at the greens and easily loose your ball. The front 9 has some tight holes and need to play this course a few times to get an idea of strategy. had dinner here in the evening which was excellent. Overall, good value." - Patrice Franwar
